Photography Tips
• Submit good quality 4" x 6" color photographs, printed on photo paper.
• Places like Walgreens, CVS, Office Depot, etc. can often print from images on your phone or an external drive
• On the back of each photo, indicate the quilt maker, quilt name, and quilt size (W" x H")
• Photo 1 must show the entire quilt, including binding.
• Photo 2 should be a focused close-up of at least 15" of the quilt, showing clear detail of piecework, and/or applique as well as quilting stitches.
• Take photos in good lighting so that your colors are represented accurately.
How to Make a Quilt Sleeve
• All quilts over 40" wide must have a 4" wide hanging sleeve.
• Heavy quilts and quilts wider than 80" must have a split sleeve.
• Quilts under 40" may have a 3" wide hanging sleeve.
