This is an invitational juried show. Submission does not guarantee acceptance. All decisions of the jury and judges will be final.

• Quilts must be finished to be considered.

• Entries must have been completed within the past 36 months.

• Quilts shown in earlier BOTV shows, including BOTV challenge quilts, are ineligible for judging.

• Quilts must consist of three layers and be quilted, with the exception of specialty quilts, such as Cathedral Windows, Wool Quilts, or Crazy Quilts

• Quilts with sharp or easily breakable embellishments cannot be accepted for judging. No stretcher bars.

• Quilts must have a fabric label on the back with the name of the quilt, owner, and contact information (more info here).

• Quilts under 40" wide must have a 3" wide hanging sleeve.

• Quilts over 40" wide must have a 4" wide hanging sleeve.

• Quilts wider than 80", or heavy quilts, must have a split sleeve.

• Quilts must have a label on the back, with the name of the quilt, the maker, and maker's address.

• If accepted, completed quilts must be submitted clean, odor-free, and ready to display. Please remove all pet hair!

How to take a good quilt photo.

• Make sure the entire quilt is visible in the photo.

• Take photos in good lighting so that your colors are represented accurately.

• You are allowed to upload up to 3 photos. Consider including a close up of an area that shows a great fabric, detail, or embellishment.

• All photos must be .jpg or .png format. (Photos from your phone will do the trick!)
